Graduated in Textile design, urban planning, and working with well known carpet & textile designers, as well as collaborating with leading architects and interior designers in North America, gave him clear understanding of contemporary art for floor covering. Fascinated by the uniqueness of Hand–made rugs from his Native land and by the prestige of design from the serenity of a Zen pebble garden in Far East of Asia, to the classic elegance of the French Savonnerie, made the Iranian born carpet designer more focused on the innovation, sustainability and artistic aspect of the design and rug weaving. Vaheed Taheri’s understanding of contemporary life style, history, art, culture,and fashion is shining throughout the exclusive collection of handmade decorative carpets at Modern fever.
